Free bags for Horde: four before level 15

Running out of bag space by the time you reach the Barrens? Good news: every Horde race can pick up four free bags from quests before level 15, and they're mostly on the route you'd take anyway. Here's the order, from a handy thread by Vanilla Dad.

1. Scuffed Shipping Crate (8 slots), level 9+

Quest: Parts and Pieces From: Wrenix the Wretched in Ratchet

Collect 5 Handfuls of Complicated Parts at the pirate camp south of town. It's right on your normal Barrens path.

2. Deviate Hide Pack (10 slots), around level 13

Quest: Deviate Hides From: Nalpak, above Wailing Caverns

Turn in 20 Deviate Hides. They drop both inside and outside the dungeon, so this pairs nicely with a WC run. It's the best early dungeon bag.

3 and 4. Sturdy Lunchbox and Old Toolbox (12 slots each), level 14

Quest chain: Stepping Stones

This is the big one: two 12-slot bags from one quest. Start at the Burned-Out Remains south of Camp Taurajo (Barrens, around 46.4, 73.9). The chain sends you over to Westfall and finishes at the abandoned camp in Stonetalon (around 40.8, 52.5).

Bonus rewards

• Cozy Sleeping Bag: not a bag for your inventory, but worth grabbing. It gives up to +3% XP while you rest in it.
• Spidersilk Pouch (12 slots), level 23+, Horde only: do Stronger than Steel on Skywatcher Plateau.
